Health and Safety Policy

Lemvigh-Müller emphasises that all employees should leave the company as healthy as when they arrived. Both after each working day and when they leave us at the end of their employment. With this health and safety policy we wish to create a basis for develop and maintain a good physical and mental working environment.

 

The overall objectives are:

  • To ensure that all employees can perform their work in a safe and healthy manner
  • To prevent the working environment from causing wear and tear, accidents and absenteeism
  • To ensure healthy and attractive workplaces with a focus on developing competences and well-being
  • That the company’s health and safety measures go beyond what the legislation prescribes and are continuously improved

 

The goals are achieved by, among other things:

  • We have a focused and visible approach to health and safety through local health and safety committees that focus exclusively on health and safety
  • The committees plan, manage, advise, inform and monitor health and safety work within the organisation
  • We involve the health and safety organisation in new construction, renovation and changes in work organisation
  • We educate and motivate our employees to comply with this policy
  • We communicate openly about our occupational health and safety efforts and results with our customers, authorities and iCSR reports

 

Activities and guidelines:

  • There is an ongoing dialogue between employees and management about the work environment and improvements
  • We hold an annual working environment discussion
  • Members of the H&S committee are trained and retrained
  • We sanction violations of both the Danish Working Environment Act and our own regulations
  • We review and revise the health and safety policy at the annual meeting of the main health and safety committee
